Spring Summer 2020 campaign

Manuel Ritz's journey continues in Morocco, the place from which the brand takes inspiration for the 2020 spring summer collection. An exciting journey through the streets of Marrakech and the arid lands of the surrounding desert, among the colors of the souk of Medina and the charming courtyards of the riads.

A journey told from two different points of view. For the Manuel Ritz man, which is a skateboard and basketball fan, this Berber land becomes a real "sport field", a place to explore on his skateboard…a wild and unpredictable journey. Just like in the garments of the collection, sports and ethnic rhythms coexist and influence each other.
On the other sideThe point of view of the Manuel Ritz woman is different: Cosmopolitan and passionate about travel, architecture and photography, she lets herself be swept away by the Moroccan culture, the colors, the flavors, the noise of the Medina in contrast with the silence of the desert. Her journey is marked by discovery of : details to be photographed, inspirations, people and cultures.

The men's collection experiences the warm season through a game of contamination and balance in the manner of Manuel Ritz: ease, color, coexistence of formal revisited and urban contemporaneity. The prints of this trip are declined on sweatshirts, polo shirts, t-shirts and dresses. The patterns speak an ento-folk language, which recalls Berber cultural influences.

Even the woman arrives in Berber land, the fabrics of this world mix bold colors, earthy nuances and ethnic patterns highlighted by embroideries that enhance their aesthetics. It's a world safari in which gabardine saharianas, micro disc sequins and fringes coexist. Cotton is the protagonist combined with linen and sequins and beige becomes the interpreter of the color palette illuminated by touches of orange and white. the looks more rigorously are interrupted by fluid drapes, fringed trimmings and broderie anglaise.
